Visit inside the chapels
The Basilica can be visited free of charge, no booking required. The chapels are visible from outside the transennae or entrance gates.
In order to visit the Chapel of Re Magi (Bolognini), the Chapel di San Sebastiano and the Chapel of San Vincenzo Ferrer:
Buy the paid tour on site (full price 5 euro, reduced price 3 euro).
No booking required (unlike groups of 15 or more people).
In order to visit the other specific chapels:
E-mail prenotazioni@basilicadisanpetronio.org to make your booking request at least one week in advance, to visit the chapels you’re interested in.
Wait for your booking confirmation.
Visiting the chapels costs 2 euro per person per chapel, to be paid on site.

Groups of 15 or more people
The Basilica can be visited free of charge.
Groups of 15 or more people it is mandatory to have radio guides (the Basilica doesn’t provide radio guides) and to book in advance, by e-mailing prenotazioni@basilicadisanpetronio.org.
When booking via email, specify whether you want to include:
The paid tour that includes visits to the Chapel of Re Magi, the Chapel of San Sebastiano and the Chapel of San Vincenzo Ferrer (full price 5 euro, reduced price 3 euro).
The visit inside other specific chapels, indicating those you’re interested in (2 euro per person per chapel).
Should you choose one or both of these options, payment is made directly in the Basilica.
Once you’ve e-mailed your request, wait for the booking confirmation.
School groups
School groups can visit the Basilica only in the afternoon, starting from 11:40 a.m.
Entrance for primary school classes is free.
Entrance for middle and high school classes is 1.00 euro per person (students, teachers and companions
included).
For all classes (primary and secondary), it is mandatory to have radio guides (the Basilica does not provide radio guides), be accompanied by a tourist guide and make the reservation by writing to
prenotazioni@basilicadisanpetronio.org one week in advance of the day on which you wish to visit.
When booking via email, specify whether you want to include:
The paid route including a visit to the Chapel of Re Magi (Bolognini), the Chapel of San
Sebastiano and the Chapel of San Vincenzo Ferrer (full price 5 euros, concessions 3 euros).
The internal visit to other single chapels, indicating those of interest (2 euros per person for each
individual chapel).
Payment for entry and any activities must be made by bank transfer (instructions for making the transfer will be provided by e-mail)..
In order to confirm your booking, it is mandatory to make payment by bank transfer and send the receipt.
